New Domain Name! + Update

Hello all my fellow Valentines or newcomers! The day has finally come when I decided to actually register a real domain name for the fansite. No more typing in waylaygraphics.com/brookevalentine or all different redirects and what not. If you’ve noticed anything I’ve created visually in the past, I’d barely put the link to the fansite in the design. Part of that was because its usually really long or always changing. So with a new domain name we finally get that complete feeling of how a fansite should really be, and now I can easily share the new website.

So without further or due, I announce the official Brooke Valentine Daily website, BrookeVDaily.com. Now I know how excited you might get after seeing this; just take a deep breath and stop jumping up and down from excitement from this wonderful news. Anyways you can take a visit to the new website if you’d like. Right now there is just a simple coming soon page.

I’m not sure yet if I’m going to transfer this current theme or create a new one in honor of the new domain name. If you’ve been following this fansite, you know I change the look of it every two seconds, but I really want to create a slick and simple theme that screams out “official fansite”. I really want the best experience for the users of this website, whether its a one time visit or someone who comes here often. I’m proud of Brooke Valentine so much, and I want to show that with this fansite and be proud of it as well.

Sorry for the long post! It’s the digital age in today’s society, so I know people’s attention span is probably up to about 140 characters now, including me.

Now here is something you might enjoy if you’re a fan of Brooke’s . Not to be a stalker or anything, but recently on Brooke’s Twitter someone had asked her if she was planning on coming out with new music or anything. She had responded saying something along the lines of finishing up music this year to get out there for the new year of 2012. So I’m not going to quote her on that, but its something to think about!

Brooke was in attendance at the “1st Annual ‘Gifts Of Joy’ Holiday Toy Drive And Benefit Concert” in California on December 23, 2010. Nice seeing her out supporting a great cause! I first heard this song on Deja’s mixtape, “The Great Experience: From Me To You Vol.1,” and I instantly fell in love with it. On top of it being a nice track luckily for us there was a video that came right along with it. Now I don’t want to give too much away, but let’s just say someone really special makes a nice cameo in the video. You’ll just have to watch and find out for yourself .

I’m too excited for Words! Pun not intended! Brooke Valentine and Bobby Valentino have done an amazing duet together (Bobby V’s new single is called “Words,” so there is the pun, lol). Anyways you just gotta listen to it! Brooke’s been on a role lately and working hard in the studio. When she wakes up the next morning in the studio you know she’s working hard (You just have to be following her on Twitter). So GET EXCITED! 2011! The last time I saw a video interview was maybe 2007, if that! Finally, here is an amazing interview with Brooke before she performed at the “Rock for a Cure” event. She talks about what she’s been doing and being excited to get new music out for 2011! This is great! I just can’t wait for what Brooke has up her sleeve. Check it out for yourself below. Love it!

Brooke Valentine Performs @ “Celebs Rock for a Cure!”

Its been quite a while since we’ve last seen Brooke perform, but as a favor and for a good cause she showed up at LisaRaye’s fundraiser, “Celebrities Rock for a Cure!” She was asked to do a special something and obviously agreed to perform! It was really nice to hear she hit the stage again =] Now it gets even better! I have not found any videos yet of her performance, BUT the event was recorded for LisaRaye’s hit reality show on TVOne for her new season coming in Spring of 2011. So hopefully (cross your fingers) Brooke was recorded and we get to see her on TV! Only time will be able to tell. I will keep you updated.

While Brooke was in Houston for Thanksgiving she was ~~dragged~~ went to a club (kidding at the crossed out text ). Slim Thug, Just Brittany, and others showed up at the Rocca Bar last Monday as well, and of course our very own Deja The Great. Even though she said her hair was like that because of the humidity, she rocked the natural look. Sometimes less is more! Good looking out!

I’m Working

I am currently smiling as I write this post. Let’s just say something happened recently which was a really nice throwback, except it happened in the present. I know I’m always switching up the theme and site, but I promise I will get it straight this time, and I think I have plenty of little tidbits to share with you all. Thank you so much to Brooke for doing her thing no matter who is hating on her. She has inspired me so much and I am happy for her! So we shall see where this takes us from here.
